SmartHub (The Open-Source Foundation): Built as a Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry-native, self-managing cluster, SmartHub gives engineering teams ultimate control over their telemetry data and automation. Think of SmartHub like a stateful streaming platform coupled to an event management system. It bypasses the traditional model of shipping massive, unoptimized data streams to expensive third-party dashboards and hoping for black-box detection to help you run your systems efficiently. With SmartHub, the value and actionability in your telemetry is extracted before you ever pay vendors for that data and so it saves you money and unlocks net new capabilities simultaneously.

Octant (The Enterprise Commercial Suite): Building on top of the SmartHub foundation, MyDecisive today announced the general availability of Octant. This suite of enterprise-ready products seamlessly integrates with SmartHub to provide advanced governance, robust security protocols, and out-of-the-box automation, both fixed and generated.
Octant cuts enterprise time-to-value down to a single day. Capabilities like enhanced error management, self-trained anomaly detection with automated runbook execution, cloud auto-scaling, and security log optimization can be added by any engineer in hours, reducing the total operating cost of production systems by nearly 90%.

Features and Free Service
We're also officially launching features. Some of these, like push-button installation, automated connection of your OpenTelemetry-based solution to Datadog and New Relic save the average customer weeks to months in setting up a proper cloud-local telemetry control plane. Others such as built-in telemetry data optimization and anomaly detection help customers stop the budget-bleed and overages spent with observability vendors while simultaneously improving visibility into incidents. It's important to us to continue to provide a free service tier, useful enough to get started with MyDecisive and OpenTelemetry. This is available, and is the default for all new users with a single SmartHub cluster and simple filtration requirements that Octant Clarity can handle.
This free, open tier is well suited for rapid-prototyping, staging, and testing purposes, as well as actually running in production.
